The product had to work easily and consistently in rugged, muddy, unfinished areas. It needed to be easy to transport over uneven ground, quick to set up, intuitive to use, and easy to store with a minimal footprint. It was also desirable to have on–board job–site luxuries like a radio and battery recharge cradle.
